Tobiloba Apesin (Year 8)

On Wednesday, Year 8 participated in a Learn to Earn careers day hosted by Young Enterprise.

It was a day to think about not only what we want to be in the future but to make us realise how much it is to have a good style of living. We started the day by noting down our dreams and hopes for the future. After, we worked out how much our dream style of living costed (let’s just say our average cost was A LOT of money!)

After, we were asked to write what success meant to all of us. This was different for everyone. We had talks from three successful women who had changed their career paths along the way. We played games to represent how we could change our paths at any stage in our lives. The day was filled with games and excitement and everyone was very interested at the task in hand. I loved every minute of it.
