The girls will be taking up exciting new challenges including the study of Biological Sciences at the University of Edinburgh, Music at the University of York and Bio Chemistry at the University of Birmingham. One student has accepted a rowing scholarship at The Southern Methodist University in Texas; and a Spanish student who joined us in Sixth Form and took her IB Diploma in English, will be studying Journalism at The University of Brighton.

Miss Jo MacKenzie, Headmistress of Bedford Girls’ School said: “The girls have acquired great skills and attributes, which will serve them exceptionally well in the next stage of their education and into the working world. They have developed in to superb young women and should be extremely proud of their achievements both in their examinations, but also in all that they have gained from the IB Diploma programme over the last two years.”
