Inspirational pupil, Aarna Naran (Year 4), will be taking part alongside her friends in the upcoming Race for Life Pretty Muddy Kids challenge on Saturday 2nd July in aid of Children with Cancer UK - leading national children's charity dedicated to the fight against childhood cancer.

A charity that is close to her heart, Aarna is raising funds and awareness in honour of her younger cousin Navya, who at 20 months was diagnosed with Leukaemia. After successful treatments, Navya is now in remission.

During the challenge, Aarna and her friends will take on the obstacles, crawl through mud pits and have fun.

Aarna reflected: “I am really happy to be raising money not only for my cousin but also for lots of other children who have cancer”

Aarna’s Form teacher, Mrs Baker said: “I was delighted, but not surprised, to hear about Aarna and her friends raising money for charity. They really are an inspirational group of girls who are keen to take action to create positive change to the world around them .”
