Many congratulations to Leah (Year 6) who competed for BGS in the Schools Rookie Golf Competition held at Bedfordshire Golf Club Stagsden on Monday 26th September.

Leah won the top prize in her age group having scored 29 stableford points on the Par 3 Academy course. Throughout the round she hit some cracking fairway shots and her accurate putting really helped to keep her score down.

Leah won a fabulous prize of an 18-hole round of golf at Cainhoe Wood Golf Club.

Leah reflected on the experience: “I’m really pleased with how I played. I had played on that course before, which helped. Thank you to my coach for giving me good advice. This win will help me in the future.”
