Junior School LRC

By Miss Kidd (Senior LRC Manager)

This week, there has been a hive of activity in the Junior LRC. During lunchtimes, the girls have been putting their creative minds to the test by making Christmas cards. They have used various materials, such as book pages, buttons, fuzzy felts and more, to craft their seasonal greeting cards.

In addition to this, to get us into the Christmas spirit, the girls very kindly decorated the lovely Junior School LRC with tinsel, Christmas tree crafts, and homemade sock figures.

It continues to amaze us every day, witnessing the imagination and creativity that our girls possess, and this week was no exception. In the LRC, we encourage all forms of expression and thoroughly enjoy it when this is shared with us.

In the Junior School, we have avid readers and now, excitingly, very enthusiastic writers. Congratulations to Grace Jackson (Year 4) for writing and illustrating her very own story called The Quest! It's a story about a world of confusion and excitement where Shoot and his friends embark on a magical adventure!

Another commendation goes to Leah Edward-Vogt (Year 4) for writing her very own story called The Story of a Book, which follows a group of fearless girls journeying through a Fairytale world filled with creatures, princesses, and mysteries that need solving!
