We can’t wait to share with you the events that we have lined up throughout the Spring Term. So, get your diaries out and be sure not to miss a thing!
Iftar – Wednesday 20th March 2024, 5.30pm
Our first event of 2024 will be the BGS ftar, held in the school Dining Hall. We invite families from across the entire school community to join us for this special occasion in the Muslim calendar. Once the sun has set and the fast has been broken with prayers, we will join together to enjoy food and drink in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
We invite family and friends to bring along a dish. This could be anything from a favourite family recipe to a takeaway pizza! Details of how to confirm attendance will be provided very soon and will include the opportunity to let us know if you will be bringing a dish. This event is open to the school community and their families, so please do come along to, what is sure to be a wonderful event.
Quiz Night – Saturday 23rd March 2024, 5.30pm
Last years’ quiz was so much fun, and we are really looking forward to hosting it again, in conjunction with Bedford Prep School in the BGS Dining Hall. The theme for this years’ quiz is Games. We can’t wait to see how you interpret this theme when it comes to costumes and table decorating! There will be prizes given out for the best dressed table, most original theme and the best dressed child! This is always an incredibly popular and fun event for all the family.
The quiz will include child friendly questions and there will be a tuck shop to keep them occupied while the grownups are conferring! This year we will have a street food truck outside the venue, serving delicious hot food, straight to your table! Or you can bring / order your own food and drink! Doors will open at 5.30 for setting up and the quiz will start at 6.30 promptly. Tickets will go on sale on Tuesday 9th February priced at £40 per table. Maximum teams of 10 people.
Uniform Sales
Get these dates in your diary so that you can remember to come along and pick up a bargain! Details of when and how to sell or donate uniforms will be provided before each sale.
The current uniform sale dates are as follows:
Tuesday 27th February, 3:30pm until 5:30pm in the Dining Hall
Tuesday 25th June, 3:30pm until :30 in the Dining Hall
