New and existing BGS pupils attended an Induction Day on Tuesday (28th June) in preparation for when they enter Year 7 in September.

A chance for the girls to settle into their forms and meet their new classmates and teachers, they enjoyed an action packed day.

After introductions were made in the Assembly Hall, the girls split into their forms and spent the morning in lessons, ranging from Maths to Art.

Getting to know each other a bit better over lunch, the girls found out all about the House system in the afternoon from Mrs Jones (Assistant Head, Co-Curricular) and her team.

With Mr Jeffreys (Maths Teacher) giving a presentation, the girls then headed out onto the playing pitches for a series of House challenges, including rounders.

With the day coming to a close, the girls were all excited to join the Senior School after the summer holidays.
