There were some creative entries in this competition, view them HERE.

Aleena Azam (Year 7) - Austen, won with her informative and beautifully designed poster on Neil Patrick Harris an American actor. Aleena quoted Harris saying that ‘sometimes you can have the smallest role in the smallest production and still have a big impact’ which we see such evidence of in our co-curricular programme.

In second place was an entry from Anya Pawar (Year 9) – Hepburn, who focused on fictional LGBTQ+ icons in her wall display/poster.

In third place was Leila Kurta (Year 9) – Franklin, with her poster ‘Pride is not defined by only one flag’ poster.

ACS Food Glorious Food

Following the ACS Food Glorious Food Event, we joined the Bake Off with a bonus round where girls could make an African or Caribbean dish to enjoy with their cookies. We have had some fantastic entries ranging from Caribbean rice and peas with jerk prawns to an entire African Feast! It has been a pleasure to judge the bonus round. Hopefully, we will be able to taste all the brilliant dishes next time.

If you would like to cook an African or Caribbean dish at home, you can browse our Food Glorious Food Booklet here for some inspiration.
