Sixth Form The Bridge Careers Service

Ms Drapela (Careers and Sixth Form Administrator)

On Tuesday 28th June, The Lower Sixth Students participated in a morning of discovery at the UCAS Exhibition located at the University of Bedfordshire. This was an opportunity for students to get in touch with universities, colleges, apprenticeship providers and employers ready to help them plan for their future.

It was a fun-filled day of exploration, many eager to head to the Exhibitors Lounge to seek out interested universities and speak with representatives. We also had many students take advantage of the subject talks that were held throughout the campus, a group of students setting straight off from the entrance to attend a session on criminology.

As we walked around we saw our students get involved with demonstrations such as sound engineering, design, forensic science and more. It was exciting to see students fully participate in the morning activities but also inform themselves of their options and route to higher education.

We hope to attend future UCAS Exhibitions to give Lower Sixth students the opportunity to get in touch with professionals, meet with universities, and explore their options after Sixth Form.
