Last week, using the lens of perspective, Year 3 delved further into understanding the contrast between stories and experiences from different cultures.

In small groups we used a thinking routine called, See-Think-Wonder. This routine encouraged the girls to make careful observations and thoughtful interpretations of individual photographs shared with each group. It set the scene for our inquiry…

Narrative Art forms from Aboriginal, Hawaiian, North American, Chinese and Egyptian cultures were shared and each group answered key questions to help them give feedback to their peers on the various ways each culture shared stories and experiences from the past, linking their understanding to how nature is a cultural stimulus for their creativity and enjoyment.
