Our school's cricket stars continue to shine in the county circuit and we couldn't be prouder of their accomplishments. Several of our students have received well-deserved recognition from their respective clubs at recent annual awards ceremonies following a highly successful 2022-23 cricket season.

Many congratulations to the following outstanding athletes:

Rhiannon Douglass (Lower Sixth): Named "Ladies Batter of the Year" by Ampthill Cricket Club.

Olivia Fox (Year 10): Earned the "Batting Award" from Beds & Hunts U15 Girls Development.

Hatty Parry (Year 10): Secured the "Bowling Award" from Beds & Hunts U15 Girls Development.

Avaani Katechia (Year 9): Impressed with the "Bowling Award" at Bedfordshire U13 County.

Flavia Genovese (Year 8): Recognized for her exceptional fielding with the "Fielding Award" at Bedfordshire U13 County.

Erin Lincoln (Year 9): Distinguished with the "Batting Award" at Bedfordshire U13 Development.

Mayah Lalani (Year 8): Showed remarkable skills to earn the "Fielding Award" at Bedfordshire U13 Development.

Millie Middleton (Year 7): Deservingly titled "Player of the Year" in Bedfordshire U11 County.

In addition to these achievements, we are thrilled to announce that following rigorous trials in September, the following cricketers have been selected for county squads for this season.

U18 Northants County: Amelia Barrow Jones.

U18 Beds County: Rhiannon Douglass.

U15 Beds County: Hatty Parry, Olivia Fox and Avaani Katechia.

U15 Beds Development: Bella Holt, Poppy Clarke, Erin Lincoln, Anum Malik and Evie Rose-Wootton.

U13 Bucks County: Emily Thompson.

U13 Beds County: Olivia James, Mayah Lalani, Flavia Genovese, Jemima Sivills, Amelia Friedenthal and Millie Middleton.

U13 Beds Development: Amelia Fraser, Izzy Macey White, Ruby Timms, Hattie Williams, Anna Quirighetti, Xanthe McGuiness, Emily Elphick, Reagan Rowley-Smith and Rosanna Melville.
