On Thursday evening, girls in the Senior School along with their families were invited to attend a special Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) Awards Evening to collect their Bronze and Silver certificates.

The evening is designed to celebrate the achievements of those who have completed either their Bronze or Silver levels, the venue changes slightly for those who complete Gold as they receive their awards at St James’s Palace from a member of the Royal Family.

As well as the DofE staff, Head girl Lauren Lewis attended the event to share with the audience her experiences of DofE. Lauren spoke about her journey through Bronze, Silver and onto Gold, elaborating on how the award has helped build her confidence, resilience and skills ready for the next chapter in her life.
