Whole School Alumnae

BGS and the wider community were delighted to see Dame Alice Harpur School alumna Sarah Turner (née Bolster, DAHS 1998), and her sheep on BBC One’s hugely popular Countryfile on Sunday 16th June.

Founder of the Little Beau Sheep, the company celebrates the best of British wool through a unique range of hand-made laundry and body care products. From signature wool laundry dryer balls to felted wool soaps and laundry fragrance, the collection offers an innovative eco-friendly take on everyday cleaning tasks.

Sarah was contacted by the Countryfile producers due to a collaboration that she worked on last year with Crowkeld Rare Breed Farm in Kildwick. Together they created a limited edition set of wool laundry balls using wool from Hebridean sheep, raising fuds for the Rare Breed Survival Trust.
