We are delighted to invite alumnae, parents and students to our House Rowing event, which takes place on Tuesday 9th July 2019.

This year, the event will also include a race for both alumnae and parents. House Rowing will start at 4.30pm with Alumnae racing from 6.00pm.

Everyone is welcome and the event promises to be a thoroughly enjoyable evening for both rowers and the whole community, enjoying the atmosphere of The Embankment. The Alumnae will be keeping everyone hydrated, serving drinks by the riverside. Following the racing, the Friends of Bedford Girls’ School Rowing (FBGSRC) will be providing a BBQ, which will take place in the Boat House gardens.

Rowers - we would like to put out an appeal for interested rowers to take part in The Alumnae boats section, with the aim of creating two racing crews. The Alumnae boats will comprise a mixture of alumnae, representing BGS, BHS and DAHS in each boat.
