Mrs Schofield (Head of Year 4)

Abracadabra! It is Christmas time once more, and the Years 3 and 4 girls were excited to walk to Bedford Prep School to join the boys in watching the annual Magic Show.

The girls were left gasping at the clever slight-of-hand tricks, and giggled happily when one of the boys became the Magician’s ventriloquist dummy! Most of the girls were keen to volunteer to help with tricks, but the lucky candidate, Ella Coupland (Year 3) became a balloon stand as the balloons were modelled into a shiny bicycle for her.

The afternoon ended with a Punch and Judy show, where Amelia Pask (Year 4) got to try out all the puppets and help the crocodile devour a string of sausages to cries of, “Oh no he didn’t!” “Oh yes he did!” It was a super fun end to the Autumn Term.
