Mrs Whomsley (Head of Year 5)

Having settled back into school, Year 5 have enjoyed being challenged to be inquirers to start their new unit. The girls were given a series of photographs and were asked to reflect on what these images meant to them. They were then tasked to come up with questions in order to gain further knowledge about the stories behind the images. This was followed by interesting discussions to allow the girls to share their ideas and decide on further areas of inquiry.

It has been wonderful to see the girls working together in this collaborative process, which challenged their thinking skills. The girls have impressed their teachers by their insightful questions. We look forward to further interesting debates!
