Photo – Sisters, Daisy (Year 6) and Isla Harris (Year 8), both received Distinctions.

Many congratulations to our talented Speech and Drama students who once again recorded outstanding results in the Autumn Term LAMDA examinations.

The results were phenomenal and students were awarded 77 Distinctions and 29 Merits. This is certainly a testimony to the hard work and dedication in preparing for their exams during these challenging times.

Mrs Redford (Head of Speech and Drama) reflected on the results: “Congratulations to all the students who managed to take their examinations at the end of last term despite all the restrictions and uncertainties. They all rose to the challenge with gusto and determination and the results are testament to their hard work and commitment.

“The examiners commented on how well the sessions were organised and conducted, following all the necessary COVID guidelines, ensuring that both students and examiners were made to feel safe and secure enabling the event to run smoothly. The students have worked immensely hard during this time and we are extremely proud of what they have managed to achieve. Some students were unable to take the examinations due to being in isolation but they are undeterred and are now busy preparing themselves for the next opportunity when they can complete their exams, hopefully before the end of the academic year.”
