By Mr Mason-McLeod (Head of Junior School Sport)

Our U11s made their much-anticipated debut at the IAPS Cricket Festival, held on Thursday 22nd June at Trent College. The event marked a significant milestone for our 10 Year 6 cricketers, who were thrilled to compete against cricket schools renowned for their strength in the sport.

During the festival, the girls participated in three paired matches, each consisting of eight overs. Their opponents included teams from Stamford, Kings Warwick and Wellingborough. Throughout the day, our Year 6 team demonstrated exceptional bowling, fielding and batting skills.

One standout performer deserving special recognition is Millie Middleton, who excelled in both batting and bowling throughout the tournament. Her contributions played a pivotal role in our team's success.

Overall, our U11s participation in the IAPS Cricket festival marked the beginning of their cricketing journey on a positive note.
