On Wednesday 13th March, our talented athletes from Years 4 to 7 competed in the Cross Country Fixture Final at Biggleswade Athletics Club. Despite challenging windy conditions, it was a day marked by grit and resolve as our teams showcased their incredible talent and spirit.
Year 4 teams made a significant impact on the competition, securing both 1st and 2nd place positions. Their energy and enthusiasm resonated throughout the tracks as they navigated the demanding course. It's a testament to their hard work and perseverance, setting a high standard for future competitions.
First place went to Imogen Murphy, Emma Morris, and Lily Cottier-Whithead, while second place was achieved by Alexa Scorer, Charlotte Milne and Savannah Steele. In the fiercely contested Years 5 and 6 event, our Year 6 team claimed the 1st place title. Their drive to succeed, along with their resilience, helped them cross the finish line triumphantly.
The Year 6 team consisted of Lottie Ayers, Evelyn Brown and Evelyn Howard.
The Year 7 team demonstrated excellent talent and skill, earning a commendable 2nd place in the Years 7 and 8 event. Their teamwork was inspiring as they tackled the challenging terrain with determination.
Representing the Year 7 team were Anna Quirighetti, Anna Trueman, and Pippa Blakemore.
Many congratulations to all.
