As part of the European Day of Languages celebrations on Wednesday, the Junior School pupils challenged themselves by learning and teaching each other every day vocabulary in Portuguese, Croatian, Urdu, Chinese, Italian, French, Spanish, Flemish, Scottish, German, Turkish and Malawi.
It has been a joy to see the girls collaborating with one another and extremely impressive that some can speak another language other than English fluently.
The importance of learning another language not only increases pluralism but also intercultural understanding. Furthermore, it provides diverse outlook of the world and encourages lifelong language learning.
