On 20th Wednesday, the annual lacrosse match between BGS 1st XII lacrosse team and Bedford School’s 1st XV rugby teamed was played.
The match was split into quarters, with BGS gaining a lead with 4-0 at half time, however Bedford School did make a comeback in the third quarter changing the score 4-2 to BGS. BGS proved slightly stronger and at full time the score ended 7-2 to BGS.
Alongside the tickets sale, there was a cake sale including a variety of homemade cakes produced by the 1st XII. The money raised will be split 50/50 with Bedford School, with our share going to our school charity, The Bedford Daycare Hospice. Well played to everyone who participated in the match and thank you to all that came and spectated.
