Whole School Alumnae

Earlier this week we welcomed 2015 leavers, Imogen Parry, Simran Deol and Shanika Mahendran, back for a tour of the school and a catch up with some of their former teachers. It is always super to welcome former students back and to hear their news.

All three studied the IB and all expressed how the programme effectively prepared them for university and additional work demands; helping them embrace change rather than fear it.

Following a degree in Psychology and Neuroscience at the University of Nottingham, Imogen is about to embark on the Civil Service Fast Stream programme. Simran has just completed her fifth year of Medicine at the University of Birmingham and Shanika is about to go into her final year at the University of Buckingham, where she is studying Art History. Alongside her studies, Shanika is working for the Milton Keynes branch of the Labour party as their Communications and Social Media Officer.

It has been a busy month for visitors and last Saturday afternoon we welcomed Dame Alice Harpur School Year of 1999 in to school. The group enjoyed a tour of the Senior School, followed by a delicious afternoon tea in the picturesque surroundings of the Sixth Form gardens.
