Mrs Winter (Head of Dance)
Talented and enthusiastic dancers from Years 7-9 excelled themselves in a challenging and exciting Contemporary Dance workshop by Two Thirds Sky on Tuesday 10th and Wednesday 11th September.
Contemporary Dance provides the girls with opportunities to explore a diverse range of movement vocabulary, allowing them to pursue their own creative journey through Dance.
This workshop was led by Artistic Director Lisa Spackman, who founded Two Thirds Sky a platform for developing new forms of dance production, performance and thinking. The girls were challenged as both performers and choreographers, learning new movement content that had them spinning, falling, rolling and balancing. The girls worked incredibly hard during the workshop and embraced the opportunity to develop their dance skills.
