A Fun filled Games on the Lawn

Just as the song goes, ‘in an English Country Garden’; last Sunday The Association hosted the annual Games on the Lawn event and the weather was spectacular!

The Lawns were adorned with cream tea and Pimm's stands, bouncy castle and sweet stall, inflatable assault course and the extremely popular hair braiding and nail bar, professionally run by our own Junior School Head Girls Team.

The event was extremely busy, girls from Years 3-6, together with their families enjoyed the games, refreshments and the unseasonably warm September sunshine. The cream teas, kindly supplied by our catering team were delicious, new to the event this year was our candyfloss machine, which proved extremely popular.

Vintage ice cream, lucky dip and a coconut shy rounded off what was a quintessentially English afternoon of fun and games, complete with circus clown and balloon modelling.

It was a real treat to see so many girls, their siblings and families, together with our teachers, kicking off the new academic year for both the new and returning girls. Many thanks to The Association and their team of volunteers for another successful event.

The Association would like to thank everyone who helped pull it all together and we look forward to seeing lots of you at our forthcoming events throughout the year.
