Mrs Martin (Head of Year 3)

On Tuesday morning, Year 3 welcomed their parents in to the classroom to celebrate the learning from their first half term of Inquiry.

It was an opportunity for the girls to explain their grasp of how their identity is linked to their community. The girls have made strong connections between what it means to be them, who belongs in their community, who the key people are and how that affects them.

Threaded through this Unit of Inquiry, the girls have been learning about Interdependency and have enjoyed creating iBooks to support their understanding. It has been an incredibly busy start to the term for our girls, who have risen to every challenge, and we are incredibly proud of each and every one of them.

Rosanna Melville (3M), said: “I think it’s important for my mum and dad to see how much we are learning. They can see that we are learning lots every day!”

Xanthe McGuiness (3C) added: “I liked sharing all the different bits of learning that we have done. I loved sharing my Book Creator on Interdependency and Habitats”.
