Super Easy Vegan Brownies
The Green Kitchen are re-introducing some of their ever-popular recipes! This week, Mrs Tombs (Deputy Catering Manager), shows you how to make Vegan Brownies. Fudgy, gooey, perfect squares of chocolate that cut easily and are easy to make. These are also great for people with egg or dairy allergies too.
Ingredients
140g Self-Raising Flour
20g Good Quality Cocoa Powder
200g Caster Sugar
80ml Vegetable Oil
1tsp Vanilla Extract
240ml Alpro Milk
Method
- Pre-heat the oven to 170 degrees.
- Grease and line a square baking tin.
- Add all ingredients to a large mixing bowl.
- Mix ingredients until well combined.
- Put mixture in to baking tin and bake for 20-25 minutes.
- A good brownie should be a bit squidgy in the centre, you can tell its cooked when a crust has formed on top and it is slightly springy, a knife should not come out clean when poking the brownie like it would do with a cake.
Enjoy! I love this brownie warm from the oven with a good quality vegan ice cream!
