Budding mathematicians from Years 3-6 are gearing up for the Times Table Rockstars competition which starts next week from Monday 9th – 14th November.
For every correct answer to a multiplication or division question, students will earn one point for their class. The Times Table RockStars platform will calculate the class average (the number of correct answers per pupil in the class who play during the competition hours). Winning classes in the school, and in the country as a whole, will be the ones with the highest average.
Times Tables Rockstars is a lot of fun, with a competitive edge. Girls can play at home from a phone, a tablet or a laptop, as well as on their iPads in school. We look forward to seeing who this year’s rock legends will be.
Evie Mead (Year 6) said: “My Mum always says practice makes progress, so I’ve been trying to practice in most of my spare time!”
