Mrs Inkson (Head of Year 6)
Year 6 have been enjoying coming together as a year group for our weekly live virtual assemblies. This week our assembly was on Wednesday, the day of the US presidential Inauguration. The girls were particularly excited about the inauguration of Vice President Kamala Harris – the first female, black, Indian American to be elected to such a high office. She is an inspiration to us all and a great role model for girls around the world. We agree that she shows many of our BGS Learner Attributes including being caring, open-minded and principled.
During the assembly, the girls reflected on the question ‘What does Kamala Harris becoming Vice President mean to me?’. They thought carefully about their own personal response to this question and made short videos with our answers, view the video montage HERE.
