We are super proud of Nidhi Chandrapu (Year 6, pictured left), who has volunteered for the Dreamsai outreach project, she has been delivering food parcels alongside her father every weekend.

Nidhi said: “Dreamsai is a charity which is currently helping elderly during COVID. Before COVID, we would give hot food to other charities like YMCA and charities helping the homeless. As the elderly are not allowed out, they can’t get products they need so we make food packs which have all of the food essentials that will last them about two weeks. Some people give us feedback about how the food was and if it lasted long enough.”

Nidhi’s form tutor, Miss Forster added: “‘It is wonderful to see Nidhi getting involved and helping in her local community, and especially at such a trying time.”
