Last Friday, Year 3 were excited to discover an invite to an end of term Tea Party with a twist…they would be organising it!

In their new Unit of Inquiry, the girls are investigating How we Organise Ourselves and within this how organisations are created to solve problems and support human endeavour and enterprise. The girls were given free reign over an hour, to come up with everything they would need for a Tea Party before coming together to discuss their ideas. This led us into discussing why people need organisations! The girls decided that with so many ideas and suggestions, organisations need to work as a team and take on different roles in order to be successful.

We are really looking forward to developing their communication and thinking skills this term through this unit as well as collaborating towards their end goal.
