Mrs Martin (Head of Year 3)
Year 3 have been investigating how people choose to remember significant events and individuals, which tied in perfectly with Remembrance Day Thursday 11th November.
The girls used their research skills to think about the significance of the poppy and why it is so symbolic when it is linked to the atrocities of the past. Their knowledge gave poignance to the artwork they individually created. Using watercolours to create a wash, the girls chose their own designs to represent the poppy, in a piece of reflective artwork.
