Over the past two weeks, Student Voice have reflected on the incredible journey they have shared this academic year at Bedford Girls’. The group have shown immense creativity, courage, and a strong sense of community throughout their learning experiences, whether it was through organising the Christmas collection in aid of Bedford Foodbank, meeting with Greens Kitchen to have ownership of the menu or working as a team to order new playground equipment. In their final week, we would like to share with you the fantastic event organised and led by our remarkable Student Voice team last Friday.
On Friday 7th July, our Junior School came alive with the spirit of adventure and imagination as our students embarked on a captivating Teddy Bear Trail. This trail, planned by the talented members of the Student Voice, was an opportunity for our young learners to showcase their boldness, imagination, and reflective thinking. They carefully planned and considered different props and books associated with their teddy bears, creating a trail that was both exciting and educational.
The Student Voice team went above and beyond to create an experience that engaged the minds of our young learners. They crafted thought-provoking questions that linked to the props and books, stimulating the girls' curiosity and encouraging them to explore new ideas.
We were grateful to all the students and staff who generously lent us their teddies and props for this event! It was lovely to see such a strong spirit of collaboration and support within our school community. By sharing their important teddies, our students exemplified the values of empathy, kindness, and the joy of learning together.
