On Monday, 22nd January, the Junior School enthusiastically celebrated World Religion Day. Our Diversity and Inclusion Reps invited members of their classes to dress as they might for a favourite religious celebration or ceremony and talk about why it is important to them.
Our girls exemplified our school value of being Bold by wearing traditional dress and speaking in front of a large audience! It is crucial to listen and understand the beliefs and values of others and the Junior School pupils demonstrated that they are open-minded and supportive.
Events such as World Religion Day provide valuable opportunities for our school community to come together, promoting unity and understanding. Embracing diverse perspectives within our community enhances our sense of belonging and enriches the overall educational experience.
Thank you to everyone who joined in making the celebration such a success.
