We are thrilled to announce that Jess Parrish (Year 11) and Rhianne Noor (Year 10) have been selected for the England Lacrosse National Academy Assessment in mid-June.
Following exceptional performances for BGS this season, Jess and Rhianne were nominated to attend a Regional Academy Tournament. Their participation and commitment were instrumental in contributing to the success of the event, and England Lacrosse were incredibly impressed with Jess and Rhianne’s performance on the field.
The Girls’ National Academy is the second stage of the England Lacrosse Talent Pathway and follows on from the Girls’ Regional Academy, where the most promising talent at the Regional Academy level is invited to form the National Academy.
Mrs Mason-McLeod (Director of Sport) reflected: “Jess and Rhianne are instrumental on the lacrosse pitch and have played a pivotal role in the success of their lacrosse teams this season. Next year Rhianne will move into the senior age-group at BGS which is a very exciting prospect as it will bring these two players together along with a large cohort of other incredibly talented players here at BGS.”
Many congratulations, Jess and Rhianne! This accomplishment is a testament to your hard work and dedication to the sport, and we wish you all the best for your upcoming trials.
