Congratulations to nutritionist and alumna, Emily English (BGS 2013), who became an instant #1 Sunday Times bestseller earlier this week with her debut cook book, So Good. Following BGS, Emily went on to study Nutrition at King’s College London and has gone on to lead a career advising people on their dietary needs.
In recent years she has broadened her market with a strong online presence, creating a cult following on Instagram as, @EmTheNutritionist, with her delicious and nutritionally packed quick recipes for people on the go.
It was great to welcome Emily back into school recently. She spent time talking to the students about the IB and her journey into work since leaving school. She also encouraged the students to ‘feeling the best you can be’, through nutritious food choices, and advising the importance of embracing diverse food groups and incorporating a spectrum of colourful fruits and vegetables into daily cooking to ensure a rich intake of essential vitamins.
