Whole School Exam Results

We are extremely proud of both our outgoing Upper Sixth and Year 11 cohorts, who have demonstrated that through consistent commitment and application, they can achieve their aspirations.

The cohorts achieved excellent results in 2024 across the IB Diploma Programme, A Levels, and GCSE examinations. Earlier in the summer term, our IB cohort performed exceptionally well, achieving an average score of 37 points (against a worldwide average of 30), with a third of the cohort scoring over 40 points.

Across A Level and IB Diploma entries combined, half of all grades were awarded at the highest two levels (A*/A or 7/6), and three-quarters of all grades were at A*-B. Additionally, 96% of the 2024 cohort have been accepted onto their preferred choice of course.

GCSE results were equally impressive, with almost two-thirds of entries achieving grades 9 to 7 (equivalent to A and above) and 23% earning a grade 9. This cohort has shown remarkable resilience and dedication, culminating in outstanding results that highlight their hard work and commitment.

The school values the diverse journeys that students choose to embark on with their qualifications. The rich and varied mix of further study courses is a testament to this: Civil Engineering, Chinese with Social Anthropology, Architecture, Actuarial Science, Law, Medicine, Criminology, Linguistics, Banking and International Finance, Philosophy, Computer Science, Politics and International Relations, Biochemistry, Theatre Production, and Fine Art, to name a few.

Mrs Gibson (Headmistress) commented: “These results reflect the determination and ambition of our students. We are incredibly proud of their achievements and the dedication they have shown throughout their studies. Their success is a testament to the hard work of both the students and their teachers, and we look forward to seeing them thrive in their future endeavours.”
