The Junior School celebrated the Harvest on Tuesday (6th October) in the Randle Hall as parents attended assembly.
Split into two assemblies for Years 3 and 4 and 5 and 6, the girls could take stock of all the gifts they and their families had donated to The Kings Arms Project – a Christian registered charity set up to work with the homeless in Bedford – and local elderly residents.
The girls were invited to bring in non-perishable gifts of tins, jars and packet foods, which they then delivered yesterday (Thursday 8th October).
The assemblies also saw pupils deliver poems and songs reflecting on the meaning of and the celebration of Harvest, and Year 3 parents were treated to a fine rendition of Conkers.
