Girls from across the Junior and Senior School have achieved a superb set of results in the latest ABRSM and Trinity Music examinations.
In the ABRSM examinations, a total of nine distinctions, eight merits and eight passes were recorded, ranging from a Year 5 singing to a Year 11 playing piano. Particular congratulations to Isobel Stearn (Year 10) who was awarded a distinction for Grade 8 Violin.
The Trinity Music examinations saw an impressive total of three distinctions and four merits achieved on the flute, piano, recorder and voice.
Again, particular congratulations to Emma Wood (Lower Sixth) who was awarded a distinction for Grade 8 Piano.
Miss Turner, Acting Director of Music, said: “We’re very proud of the continued success our girls continue to achieve in their examinations. It’s great to see the girls’ hard work, along with the efforts of our Visiting Music Teachers, paying off.”
