Miss Dawson Biology Teacher (CAS & Service Coordinator)
Following two weeks of collecting after the October Half Term, a group of Lower Sixth students spent time this week sorting and displaying the almost 700 items, generously donated by members of our school community, in the Green Room.
All the items will be taken to the SMART Prebend Street Centre on Wednesday 28th November, where they will be used to provide breakfast and lunch at the centre, as well as emergency food packs to take away.
SMART help adults and young people, families and those with complex needs. Their dedicated teams work in many areas including health and well being, mental health, substance use, homelessness, domestic abuse, training and criminal justice.
Thank you to everyone who donated to the collection. It will help the Prebend Street Centre continue to support the large number of service users they encounter each day.
