Mrs Smart (Head of Science)

This week in Science, Year 6 have been investigating how muscles work. They have studied antagonistic pairs, dissected chicken wings, and made and tested model arms and hands.

The girls then used their newly acquired knowledge to create videos on how muscles work in the body. We had some very creative ideas from school lessons to an exercise video and even a horror movie!

The Science lessons give the girls a true flavour of life in the Senior School, encouraging them to be independent and work collaboratively when identifying and solving scientific problems.
