Emily Perry and Jasmine Brakenbury (Year 9)
On Tuesday, students from Years 8-10 were treated to a German play called So eine Nervensäge, which was performed by the Onatti Theatre company.
The play was about two sisters, one who wanted to go on a date and one who was trying to prevent her. It was a very entertaining play, which all year groups enjoyed.
Everybody liked the fun, outgoing atmosphere that the play gave. Throughout the play, there was audience participation, which helped us develop our German language and vocabulary. We are really looking forward to next year’s play.
Emily Polhill adds: “Everyone loved the German play! Whilst the story was easy to follow, it also challenged our German vocabulary. A student was picked from the audience to participate and had use their German knowledge. It was great to learn German in such an entertaining and interactive way.”
