Christine Pearson and Caitlin Cameron-Fraser (Lower Sixth)

On Friday 24th May, a group of us continued our Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) journey by attending a Digital Research Day at the British Library.

It was fascinating to tour the British Library and explore the amazing research opportunities available, in addition to seeing the beautiful artefacts in the Treasures Room. We also learnt many new research skills that will enhance our progress towards this independent learning qualification. From discovering new academic websites to learning how to recognise authentic data, the Digital Research day was a wonderful chance to extend our learning.

Mrs Hoar (Challenge and Extend Co-ordinator), said: “Martin, our workshop leader, was a complete inspiration and it was fantastic to observe the girls rising to the challenges of all aspects of the course.
