Mr Castro (Head of Swimming)

The U11 swimming team were back in action again last weekend. The team qualified in both the Freestyle and Medley relays for the ESSA Primary schools team Championships.

Both teams swam very well in the heats and progressed to both A finals. In the Freestyle final, Charlotte Brakenbury, Roisin Scanlon, Hannah Kilpatrick, Nwando Ifeacho, put together a very fast relay and finished in 5th in a very close finish.

In the Medley relay Roisin Scanlon, Emma Adsley, Charlotte Brakenbury and Nwando Ifeacho finished 8th. To make both A finals at a national championship is an amazing achievement. Well done to all swimmers!
