Last Wednesday, our Years 5 and 6 rounders team travelled to Windlesham to enjoy team building ahead of their big tournament.The following day, the girls woke up refreshed and ready to compete in the IAPS National Rounders Tournament on the Thursday morning.

The morning consisted of five group games, which resulted in BGS beating Royal Russell, Windlesham, The Elms, Kew College, Bishopsgate and losing to Hoebridge School.

The girls qualified second in the group, qualifying for the quarter-finals where they beat Barrow Hills. They then won against Witham in the semi-finals and finally beating St George’s College, Weybridge in the Final.

Congratulations to the following girls who won the U11 IAPS Rounders Tournament last Thursday.

Year 5: Rhianne Noor and Poppy Whitford.

Year 6: Charlotte Brakenbury, Molly Brieley, Alice Challacombe, Esmée Challacombe, Alice Everitt, Nwando Ifeacho, Jessica Parrish, Kate Woodwood and Isabelle Wright.
