Miss Huckle (Head of Netball)

Last Friday saw 20 eager and enthusiastic netballers in Year 8 travel to Condover Hall, Shrewsbury for a weekend of netball and team building activities.

On arrival, the girls had the chance to try some abseiling, followed by dinner then a Q+A session with superstar England netball defender - Eboni Usoro-Brown. The following day was filled with action packed netball from both the A and B Teams, who performed brilliantly. After a tiring day, the girls were then able to try the high ropes course and rock climbing. In the evening, they were treated to a selection of activities including a silent disco, laser tag and a secret maze.

On Sunday, the teams were placed into three different competitions: The Cup, The Trophy and The Plate. The A Team competed in the cup, whereas the B Team competed in the plate. The A Team had an incredible morning, playing four games and not losing a single one. The B Team had a mixed morning with a selection of draws, loses and wins but learnt lots. The A Team placed 4th out of 25 schools and the B Team placed 17th.
