This year National Poetry Day marked it’s 25th Anniversary, with people exploring different kinds of poetry within schools, libraries, bookshops, hospitals and many more locations.

To coincide with this event, the Junior School LRC ran a week-long mini poetry festival. All pupils had the chance to write and perform their own poems themed around ‘Fantasy’.

With mythical creatures, wizards, unicorns and mermaids, the girls have had fun exploring their imagination and coming up with poetry they are proud of.
