Mrs Harrold (Head of Psychology)
This week, the Sixth Form Psychology students have been utilising outside spaces to facilitate teaching and learning this week. The Lower Sixth have been trying out Wundt's methodology for investigating the structure of the mind: introspection. They have used the gardens to spend some time focusing on an abstract stimulus and reflecting on their responses, before feeding back to the class. This has enabled them to see some of the strengths and weaknesses of this method for themselves.
The Upper Sixth have been debating the trustworthiness of eyewitness testimony - exploring the impact of anxiety upon accuracy as a class, by taking their socially distanced discussion outdoors.
