Mrs Schofield (Head of Year 4)

As part of Year 4 Science in the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the girls are investigating the following statement, Living things need energy in order to survive. 

The girls have explored the differences between living and non-living things, and together decided that animals gain energy from the food they eat. They are now immersed in finding out how food is converted into energy.

In small groups, they have created a collage of the digestive system, which required excellent collaborative and communication skills as they learned together. It is certainly harder than it looks!
