We’re delighted to announce that Mrs Greenwood (Lacrosse Coach) has been selected to represent the England Women’s World Cup training squad for the forthcoming 2020/21 season.

Following two September trial weekends, Mrs Greenwood is part of a 31-player training squad, which will begin their final year’s preparation before the 2021 Women’s World Championship in July.

Mrs Greenwood reflected: “The last three years have been incredible to be a part of Team England. The amount of support from teammates, coaches, and the people in my life has contributed to my ongoing success in selections leading up to the World Cup next year. Even through these challenging times, we have banded together to create a concrete team atmosphere that is stronger than ever. Plus, I have utilised this time to focus on my individual skills.  I am looking forward to an exciting year counting down to July with a (hopefully) gold medal team, and of course bring back to BGS new and inspiring programmes to help the girls improve their skills. "
