During lockdown Bedford Open Door reached out to the local community to ask if they could produce some crocheted sea creatures to be used in an aquarium in their waiting room in place of real fish.

Talented and creative Upper Sixth student, Mollie Sawford, took up the challenge and produced adorable jellyfish and whales to be included in the display.

Mollie said: “I enjoy crocheting so much, so when I saw this I thought it was the perfect opportunity to give back to a charity that does so much good for others!”
